Lucia is an attorney with extensive experience at the intersection of reproductive rights, healthcare law and biomedical ethics. Before founding Artemis Fertility Law, she advised medtech innovators, life science companies and other clients in the United States and Europe on complex legal and compliance matters.

 

Educated in three countries, Lucia holds law degrees from Stanford Law School, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Germany), and Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas (France). She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine ("ASRM"), the American Health Law Association ("AHLA") and the American Bar Association ("ABA") Family Law Section - Assisted Reproductive Technology ("ART") and International Law Committees. Lucia currently practices law in Los Angeles, and previously worked in Berlin, Munich, and Paris, laying the foundation for her understanding of cross-border issues in assisted reproduction and family-building.

 

At ARTemis Fertility Law, Lucia brings this unique perspective to counseling clients on surrogacy and gamete donation agreements, helping families navigate the legal complexities of ART with clarity, care, and global insight.
